Commercial DX Fan Coils. DX fan coil products for add-on,
replacement,
design build and retrofit applications.
Our
DX fan coil products
offer lower first costs,
smaller space requirements and application flexibility. Other benefits
are
options for factory-installed metering devices and coil selections
matched to
your ARI condensing units with 13-SEER plus results for
most
combinations to meet new efficiency standards. Fan coils are
rated by the
factory in accordance with the Air-Conditioning and Refrigeration
Institute
(ARI) standards.
The DX fan coil units are
available in three model
types:
Horizontal
furred-in ceiling models (1.5-3 ton) are cased or
uncased. The (HXE) unit (208/230v) offers straight cooling, heat pump
or cooling
with electric heat. The (HXW) unit (115v) offers straight cooling, heat
pump or
cooling with hot water heat.
Vertical wall
recessed models (1.5-3 ton) can be closet or wall-mounted
with available wall access panels. The (VXE) unit (208/230v) is
available for
straight cooling, heat pump or cooling with electric heat. The (VXW)
unit
(115v) offers straight cooling, heat pump or cooling with hot water
heat. The
application is most often found in hotels or apartments and can be
connected to
a water heater.
Multi-position
units (1.5-5 ton) include a full family of
models including up-flow, horizontal left or right, and even
counter-flow for
attic, closet or basement installations. The MXE unit (208/230v) is
available
for straight cooling, heat pump or cooling with electric heat
applications. The
MXW unit (115v) is available for straight cooling, heat pump or cooling
with
hot water heat. Additionally up-graded MSXE and MSXW models are now
available
with variable speed GE (Regal-Beloit) X-13 or premium ECM options for
today's
high efficiency system needs.
All standard hot
water heat units can be integrated into a
boiler loop or with a factory
installed circulating
pump
for domestic hot water applications. All units may be used
with R-22 or
R-410A and an expansion valve can be selected and factory installed to
match
the system.
